The book was written by Peter Swanson.Roberts will star and produce alongside her Red Om Films partners, Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill, as well as Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh from Tribeca Studios. Stuber and Nick Nesbitt will also serve as producers.Joel Gotler, who represents the book and author, and Swanson will executive produce.

Actor Charlie Hunnam is taking the lead in the Amazon Prime Video's series adaptation of the graphic novel "Criminal." The graphic novel was written by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.

Amazon MGM Studios is producing the project. Keoghan will be sharing the screen with Hemsworth, who is also set to star and produce the film with his producing partner Ben Grayson.

The original novella authored by Winslow hints at a storyline reminiscent of the movie "Heat".
